Corprus is a fictional disease featured in the computer game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. After infection, the disease follows one of two paths. Generally symptoms include numerous cancerous growths and violent insanity. Those in the late stages of the disease become stronger and are refered to as Corprus Stalkers. Some, whose growths are more debilitating, are called Lame Corprus Beasts.

Otherwise, if the sufferer is susceptible to Dagoth Ur's dream sendings, he or she will join the Sixth House Cult and progress toward becoming an Ascended Sleeper, passing through various phases like Sleeper, Dreamer and possibly Ash Slave and Ash Ghoul. Psychotropic effects of the disease are used to control the sufferer and aid the Sixth House.

Corprus is considered to be incurable. However, during the course of the game the main character, once infected, seeks a potion from Divayth Fyr at Tel Fyr on the east coast of Vvardenfell. The potion removes the negative symptoms of the disease while retaining its one positive symptom, immunity to all other diseases. Tel Fyr also houses a Corprusarium where the victims of corpus can find refuge and live out the remainder of their lives in relative peace.

Corprus is called Divine Disease by House Dagoth, as Dagoths believe it to be the evolution of Dunmer race, bringing it unity and immortality, and protecting it from all outside influences. Because of Dagoth Ur's connection to it and the Heart of Lorkhan, it may be theorized that Corprus was magically created by Dagoth Ur to bring Dunmer to his cause.

The Ghostfence is a magical barrier created by Vivec and other gods, for the purpose of containing blight and corprus disease within the Red Mountain region.

Corprus has a much greater reflection in user-made mods than in the original game. In the Sixth House mod, the player can actually join the House Dagoth and win it a decisive victory. It's epic storyline ends in destroying Ebonheart, killing Vivec, shutting down the Ghostfence and letting Blight and Corprus to spread across Vvardenfell, in future driving all the foreigners away from Vvardenfell.

Corprus and Dagoth cults are also featured in many darkside mods like Suran Underworld. The storyline for House Dagoth is also included in now-developed Chaos Heart mod.

There are signs that House Dagoth storyline was planned to be included in the original game, but wasn't completed due to lack of time.
