| In the fictional universe of Warhammer 40,000, the Cursed 21st Founding was when new chapters of Space Marines were created but with unfortunate side-effects. Many chapters had uncontrolled mutations, also entire chapters were lost or destroyed. One more commonly known chapter created during the founding were the Fire Hawks, who were lost upon entering the Warp and are rumored to be the Legion of the Damned. Another one that appeared in the Third War for Armageddon were the Black Dragons.
