Cyril is a fogman who lives on the Island of Sodor in the Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends TV Show. He lives in an old cottage in Misty Valley, and has a very important job. When there is fog about, he puts detonators on the tracks to warn the engines about the fog. One time he was replaced by a Foghorn, but saved the day when the foghorn caused a landslide, and made Thomas crash. Cyril was soon given the job back, and has proven to be a really useful fogman.

Cyril was only featured in one story 'The Fogman', but made a cameo in the Village Crowd in 'It's Only Snow/Thomas' Snowy Surprise'.
