DK Bongos are drum-like controllers for the Nintendo GameCube game series Donkey Konga and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. It has two pads on either side of the controller and has a built-in microphone to detect clapping, though hitting the sides of it also works. In Japan they are called tarukonga.

Tarukonga is a Japanese bongo drum, or a Japanese term for a set of bongo drums. While the original name is Japanese, tarukongas have a bountiful history in Africa.

In Donkey Konga, a rhythm game that uses the bongos, it detects left and right hits, the hitting of both sides at the same time and clapping.
