Making his debut in Mortal Kombat: Deception, this Seidan guard-turned-mercenary is neutral, and he fights alone. Dairou usually gets the job done as quickly as possible, but there might be some honor left in his cynical heart.Storyline
He was once a highly respected Seidan guardsman, much like Hotaru, but he was imprisoned when he attacked and killed the man who he was led to believe murdered his family. In Konquest mode, Dairou is hired to free Shujinko from prison. In the present, he has been hired by an unknown person to kill Hotaru and steal the constitution of Seido. His game ending depicts him as achieving his goal, but it will not be known for certain until the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, where both he and Hotaru are slated to make reappearances.Memorable Moves

- Dairou was originally going to be in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance as a samurai hired by Shang Tsung, but was cut for time.
- Dairou is unaware that Darrius, the person who hired him to kill Hotaru, is also actually the person who killed his family.
