Dalereckoning - commonly abbreviated to DR - is the primary fictional numbering of years in the Forgotten Realms Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting.

Dalereckoning uses the Calendar of Harptos to define the years. The Dalereckoning calendar was begun in 1 DR when the Standing Stone was raised by the elves of Cormanthor and the humans of the Dalelands.

In conjunction with the names of the years given by the prophet Auguthra the Mad, that gives years names, Dalereckoning is used mainly in the Western Heartlands, Sword Coast and central and north Faerûn areas.

The current campaign date of the Forgotten Realms, according to the updates of the Player's Guide to Faerûn, is 1373 DR - as of the real-world year of 2004.
