Delcatty (エネコロロ Enekororo in Japan, Enekoro in Germany, Delcatty in France) is a fictional character from Pokémon franchise.

This Pokémon's name is a portmanteau of delicate, referring to its beautiful appearance, and cat, in the same nature that Skitty's name contains kitty within it.

Appearance

Delcatty looks like a large cat with a purple, collar-like growth around its neck and large, purple ears. It has a much more elegant look than its pre-evolution, Skitty, comparable to Persian and Meowth.

Biology

Delcatty prefers to live an unfettered existence in which it can do as it pleases at its own pace. This Pokémon eats and sleeps whenever it decides, thus making its daily routines completely random. This is rather unexpected, as Delcatty's elegant appearance implies that it would be well organised and proper.

In the video games

Delcatty was introduced in Ruby and Sapphire and can be acquire by evolving a Skitty with a Moon Stone. In Pokemon XD, one can be snagged from Cipher Admin Lovrina at the Pokemon Lab and later from Mirror B at random (but only if you didn't snag it from Lovrina).

In the Anime

Currently, Delcatty only had 2 appearances in the anime. First, it was owned by a trainer who had a crush on Misty in Pokémon Chronicles. It was stolen by Butch and Cassidy, but Casey's Meganium helped to get it back.

Later, one was used by a Pokémon coordinator Abby which the gang met on their way to Verdanturf town. Abby taught May's Skitty Blizzard then which she later used in a Pokémon Contest against Timmy's Dusclops.

In the trading card game

Delcatty appeared at least four times in the card game, all as Stage-1 colorless Pokemon:
