| Dope Wars is a turn-based strategy computer game in which the player simulates the role of a drug dealer. The game's objective is to eliminate all competitors and build a monopoly on illegal narcotics. Dope Wars is loosely based on another computer game, Drug Wars. There have been various incarnations of this game. There are web-based versions of the game, a version for Palm handhelds, a version for calculators, a Windows client version, a Linux client, and a version for the Mac OS X Dashboard. Unfortunately, there have been reports of spyware bundled with the Windows client. MultiplayerIn early 2006, Dope Wars was once more updated with the release of “”.Chronic 2005 is an open ended adventure allowing you to play as one of four distinct characters, each with their own special skills and abilities. With $2,000 in cash and $5,000 in debt to the loan shark, your journey begins at the Los Angeles airport as you explore the neighboring cities in search of the best suppliers and buyers. Upgrading your guns, armor, hiring thugs and staying ahead of the cops soon becomes the way of life. “”. Original versions of Dope Wars were not designed to be played in a multiplayer environment. In 2001 a reinvention of the game facilitating online, in-browser playability was offered; this allowed users to interact with each other while playing, thus creating the first multiplayer edition of Dope Wars, known as “”. The #1 Cartel of all time in A games (with no blackmarket), is Old School Mafia, with 3 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze. The #1 Cartel of all time in B games (with a blackmarket), is Daqqers1 with 6 golds, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals. The #1 Cartel of all time in C games is Mashed Bitches, although the competition in C games is very low, due to lack of interest, game flaws (certain basic strategies cannot be ran successfully) and it is relatively new in comparison to A and B games. When the medal tables are collated however, the cartel Red's Warriors are top. Most cartels have a particular strength, Red's Warriors are strong across the board but have yet to come top in an individual game aspect of Dopewars.
