Plot
The SGC is invaded by an alien life force that takes up residence in the base computer system. After repeated attempts to expel it from their electronics, the alien being finally makes the jump from computers and into Major Carter. Through Carter, the alien entity is able to communicate its intentions. SG-1 finds out that when the SGC sent a MALP to their world, the radio equipment needed to control the robot interfered with the aliens on the world, destroying many of them. Interpreting the action as an attack, the alien entity was sent to infiltrate the SGC's computer system and destroy the facility. Angered at the fact that it was using Carter as a hostage, O'Neill tells the alien that if it stays in Carter's body, he would convince the SGC to send more MALPs to completely destroy the alien civilization.
