| Exeggutor (ナッシー Nassy in Japanese, Kokowei in German and Noadkoko in French) is a fictional character from the Pokémon franchise. It is #103 in the National Pokédex. The name Exeggutor is believed to be derived from the name of its previous evolutionary stage (Exeggcute), whose name is derived from "egg" and "execute", and the word "executor"; however, the official emphasis is on the second syllable (unlike in "executor"). BiologyExeggutor appears much like a walking palm tree, which evolves from the seed-bearing egg Pokémon, 'Exeggcute'. Each "coconut" or head dangles from the top of the tree; occasionally a head will fall off and return to the form of an Exeggcute. On many occasions, the heads are referred to as eggs, such as with the Pokémon attack "Egg Bomb" or the Pokémon TCG attack "Big Eggsplosion," not to mention the fact that Exeggutor evolves from a group of egg Pokémon. This suggests that Exeggutor is a tree which grows eggs rather than fruit. Each of Exeggutor's heads has a different personality. Each head is very loud, as they all constantly talk about what they are thinking about and what they like. Thankfully, each of the heads are friendly and always get along with each other. Exeggutor also possess unexplainable psychic-powers. These powers may be used for each head to communicate with the Exeggutor's body and each individual head in order to easily move the shared body in cooperation. If a head falls off and becomes and Exeggcute, it will use its telepathic powers to communicate with other fallen heads to become a group of Exeggcute. In the video gamesExeggutor can only be obtained by evolving an Exeggcute with a Leaf Stone. You can also snag it in Pokemon XD from Grand Master Greevil. Like many other Pokémon that evolve with an evolutionary stone, Exeggutor will no longer learn any more moves as it levels up. However, just like other evolutionary stone-evolvers, Exeggutor will learn a move that Exeggcute cannot -- in Exeggutor's case, those moves are "Stomp" and "Egg Bomb".Exeggutor is considered an upper tier pokemon. It possesses some excellent self contained combos and fairly high stats. It's major weakness, to bug attacks, tends not to be an issue since bug attacks are rare in the game. Exeggutor is the only pokemon to learn both Sleep Powder and Dreameater. Combined with its high special attack and STAB-ed GigaDrain, Psychic and a Sunnybeaming combo, Exeggutor can sweep entire teams if they are unprepared. The best way to counter Exeggutor is with a fire pokemon, since Exeggutor's special defense isn't especially high and it lacks speed to Sleep Powder first. Lum berries can also be useful. Exeggutor is one of the Pokémon which suffered from the transition from the first generation to the second since the Special stat was split into two stats. This caused Execggutor's Special Defense to be lower than its Special Attack, which was kept the same from the first generation. Exeggutor's duel Grass/Psychic nature gave it the advantage in RBY, but the introduction of the Dark type and new Bug type attacks (to which Exeggutor has a double weakness to) regulated Exeggutor's advantages. In the animéExeggutor first appeared in the episode "March of the Exeggutor Squad". A magician named Melvin captures a large amount of Exeggutor so that he can hypnotize people into coming to see his magic shows. His Exeggcute evolves into an Exeggutor and accidently hypnotizes all the other Exeggutor whilst trying to put Team Rocket to sleep with Hypnosis. The herd of Exeggutors rampages hypnotically, but Ash Ketchum uses his Charmander to snap the sense back into the Exeggutors. In other propertiesIn the card gameExeggutor has made six appearances in the Pokémon Trading Card Game:
