The album contains a selection of musical tracks from the game containing one remix, remixed and performed by Nobuo Uematsu, vocals were performed by Emiko Shiratori in "Melodies of Life - Final Fantasy". It was released on August 21, 2000, by Tokyopop Soundtrax. The release bears the catalog number TPCD 0201-2.
