Fred Pelhay is a fictional troublesome truck that appeared in The Railway Series by the Rev. W. Awdry. Fred lives and works on the Island of Sodor.

Fred Pelhay is an orange 'Private Owner' truck. He is one of the troublesome trucks on the Island, and loves to cause trouble. Although he is not mentioned at all in the Railway Series, he makes a cameo in the background of the first picture in the story 'Toad Stands By' in the book 'Oliver the Western Engine'.
