The Fully-winged Dodo is a fictional aircraft in the video game Grand Theft Auto III.

The FWD is not actually flyable in the game, although it does periodically fly over the game area. Many dedicated gameplayers continue to fruitlessly search for one. There are two reasons for this: the FWD was one of a number of mysteries in the game that were rumoured to exist, and some of those mysteries, such as the Ghost Town, were later found to actually exist.

Proof of the FWDs non-existence is the amount of extra programming space the entirely new physics model for the aircraft would take up. This same reason is used to prove the non-existence of motorbikes in the game.

It is often suggested that the FWD existed in the original beta version of the game, but was removed due to the terrorist attacks on September 11.
