Games - Ganksoft Entertainment

Ganksoft Entertainment is an American video game and computer game developer.

History

"Ganksoft Entertainment" was started by Brian Peek in 1998 as a group name for his software projects. Ganksoft has grown since then, and has gone from a group releasing emulator projects to designing games of their own.

Ganksoft made an appearance at E3 2001 on the DC Tonic
demo CDs which were given out to the Dreamcast fans at the show. Ganksoft's contribution to the disk was a demo of a puzzle game called Marbol
. DC Tonic
has been well received and has even been reportedly mistaken for an actual commercial demo, though the developers were rushed for time in its production, and the tools used were not at a very high level of quality at the time.

In 2005, Cryptic Allusion
picked up the development of Marbol where Ganksoft left off, this time aimed at Mac OS X
and Windows
users.
