Goomba King is a fictional character in the Mario Universe, and from Paper Mario. Goomba King is of the Goomba species. Though he is now huge, he used to be the smallest Goomba in his village. Bowser found him and recruited him to stop Mario. With the Star Rod, Bowser made him as he is today. Alas, his power did not last. Mario came along and defeated him in battle. Then, Mario used a switch to turn Goomba King's Castle back into the bridge to Toad Town.Goomboss
Goomba King exposed to a power star, Goomboss appears in Super Mario 64 DS and holds the key to Mario's room. He harbors a grudge against the plumber for stomping uncountable amounts of his people. He never mentions Mario beating him before in either game, and he fights differently, so it is possible that they are two different people/Goombas. He summons 3/6/9 Goombas to help him. Every injury he sustains causes him and his bodyguards to grow in size/number and speed. To defeat him, Yoshi/Mario/Luigi/Wario must attack one of the surrounding Goombas and knock it into Goomboss.
