Hapland is a free interactive online flash game created by Robin Allen. The objective of the game is to guide the actions of some stick men to bring about the lighting of two lamps. Almost everything in the game can and must be manipulated in order to realise this aim. Every action the player takes has consequences elsewhere in the game so forward planning is required to ensure that one move does not make later moves impossible. Although everything in the game is logical, it requires creative, abstract connections to be made and the puzzle is difficult to solve. The game also has a very distinctive visual style with the colour schemes of the landscape and often surreal images contrasted with the solid black characters.
