In the Darkness of Shadow Moses is a book written by Nastasha Romanenko in the video game Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. It comes in three parts: A newspaper review, an editorial by a conspirist, and the book itself. The book details the events of Metal Gear Solid through the eyes of Snake's nuclear anyalist Nastasha Romaneko and provides a new storyline while retelling the story of the previous game. The New York MirrorA 11 page review written by George Franklin. A very brief summary of the book. It ends with a picture of Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions with the text "available now" underneath them. The Shocking Conspiracy Behind Shadow MosesA 129 page book written by Gary McGolden. The book is Gary's story. Gary first receives a disk in the mail and after reading it with the help of a friend, he discovers that on the disc is Nastasha Romanenko's book In the Darkness of Shadow Moses. He goes on an adventure to Alaska to find this island to find out if anything written in the book is true.He gets to Alaska with the help of his friend the fisherman. To get on Shadow Moses unnoticed Gary wears a gutted tuna and swims to the island. When he gets there, he finds his friend the fisherman tied up to a chair. His friend begs his help but Gary hears gunfire and runs away. He gets to the roof and is knocked out. When he awakens he is tied to a chair himself and his face is covered with a burlap sack. He is interrogated about the optical disk (which he chose to bring) but he refuses to talk. He is beaten and when his captors are about to kill him he is saved by a unseen figure (presumably Solid Snake) who leaves him extra copies of the optical disk. He later goes on to get his work and Romaneko's book published. Gary's writing includes some of his past and shows his interest in the paranormal. Gary belives he was abducted by aliens as a boy and other outlandish theories. Strangly enough, he hates peanut butter, but eats it constantly. In The Darkness of Shadow MosesA 324 page book written by Nastasha Romaneko. It chronicles Romaneko's point of view during Metal Gear Solid. Apparently while at her Los Angeles home she is writing when visited by her ex-husband Richard Ames. Ames goes with a crew and sets up a radio communication for her to talk to Solid Snake and give him advice. The book provides insight to such things as the radio black-out towards the end, as well as clues to the possible plot of any sequel.[ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for In the Darkness of Shadow Moses ] | Searches on eBay |
