Joe Baca (born January 23 1947), American politician, has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1999, representing the 43rd District of California ().

Baca was born in Belen, New Mexico, the youngest of 15 children and was educated at California State University, served in the United States Army, and was a corporate public relations officer and a member of the California State Assembly until 1999 when he left to enter the House. Baca's son, Joe, Jr., won his father's old seat in the California State Assembly in 2004.

In 2004, Baca was the target of Political Human Sacrifice, a feature of the John and Ken Show on KFI AM 640. However, the feature did little to change the final election result, and Baca cruised to victory. In fact, he garnered 66.4% of the vote in 2004, exactly the same percentage as his 2002 vote.
