John Calhoun is an Apple Macintosh software developer. His first software programs were self-published shareware games (Glider, Glypha, etc.), released under the pseudo-company Soft Dorothy Software. He was later published commercially through Casady & Greene, but he has now joined Apple's programming team.
His most famous creations are the games in the Glider series: Glider, Glider 4.0, Glider PRO, and Glider Pro X. He created the shareware games Glypha III, Stella Obscura, MacTuberling, and commercial games Pararena and Spaceway 2000 (co-written with Jeff Robbin), and an Apple Newton game, Silicon Casino.
