| John Tobias along with Ed Boon, created the Mortal Kombat fighting game series for Midway. Tobias was credited for writing the storylines for Mortal Kombat. He left Midway during the production of Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, along with other Midway staff members, to form Studio Gigante. Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus was the first game Studio Gigante created. Tobias would also later develop the WWE WrestleMania 21 video game.
