Johto (Jōto) is a region or state in the Pokémon world. This mountainous region is home to the Johto League and its headquarters are in Silver Town, Mt. Silver in the anime.

Johto lies directly to the west of Kanto, to the northeast of Hoenn, and is based on the Kansai region of Japan. Location in reference to Orre is unknown.
