| Jon Dore (born Jonathan David Dore in 1975) is a comedian from Ottawa. He was a co-presenter for the first three seasons of Canadian Idol and often played the clown to Ben Mulroney's straight man. He announced he would not return for the fourth season, after claiming to tire of the job. Dore also writes a weekly column for Toronto's Metro newspaper and is working on a novel entitled An Endomorph's Guide to Hallucinogenic Steroids.
