Judgement (XX) is a Major Arcana Tarot card.

Description

An angel is depicted playing a trumpet, from which hangs a white flag bearing a red cross. A group of humans stands, arms spread, looking up at her.

Interpretation

Judgement recognises that all people make mistakes. It offers us the opportunity to forgive our errors and put the past behind us.

It should be noted that the Judgement card can also express incorrect or baseless judgements of others.

Alternative decks

In the Vikings Tarot this card portrays Ragnarok, with Heimdall blowing Gjallarhorn and the Aesir standing ready to meet the oncoming Jotuns.
