| King Ottmar (a.k.a. the Lion of Willendorf), is a video game character in the Legacy of Kain series. His only appearance was in the first game, where he was voiced by Neil Ross. Ottmar is king of Willendorf, the wealthiest city in all of Nosgoth. Kain went to see Ottmar in the hopes of rallying the army of Willendorf against the Legions of the Nemesis. Ottmar, however, was mired with grief over his daughter, whose soul had been stolen by a crafty dollmaker. Kain hunted down the dollmaker and brought the princess' soul back. With his daughter healed, Ottmar granted Kain a royal favor and the young vampire requested the army of Willendorf to fight the Nemesis' army. Being a powerful warrior, Ottmar personally led his army at the Battle of the Last Stand. Halfway through the battle, Ottmar was slain and soon after, Kain traveled back in time to rewrite the past. Since Kain changed history, it can be assumed that Ottmar was not killed, since the Battle of the Last Stand did not take place. However, he was probably killed in later years as Kain and his vampire army rose to power following the collapse of the Pillars.
