;The Minstrel : He is the only recurring character out of the trilogy, although it may not be the exact same incarnation of the character. He is known for his singing and storytelling, and his flamboyant clothing. In Romancing SaGa 3 The Minstrel is very hard to get rid of if you take him in as a party member, forcing the player to either kill him off, or to beat an Abyss Guardian with him in the party. Another defining aspect of the character is his tendency to be found in pubs.
;Myriam : A fire mage of Estamir. She starts the game with Grey.
;Neidhart : He is the Prince of Rosalia and can be found in Crystal City in Rosalia. He wants to marry Diana. He also is a main player in Aisha's story's beginning.
