Lloyd Braun was a recurring fictional character on the show Seinfeld played first by actor Peter Keleghan, then by actor Matt McCoy. Braun grew up with the show's protagonist Jerry Seinfeld and his friend George Costanza. Costanza's mother often pushed him to be more like Lloyd Braun, saying "why can't you be more like Lloyd Braun!".

Braun suffered a nervous breakdown after his work on David Dinkins' election campaign, for Mayor of New York City, was unsuccessful. He also dated, for a time, Seinfeld's friend and former lover, Elaine Benes. It was Benes who suggested the bad advice that may have led to the failed election campaign. Following the Dinkins campaign, Braun spent time in an institution.

Following the breakdown Braun became very paranoid. He helped Seinfeld's friend Cosmo Kramer, in his attempt to gain historical status for a movie theatre.

In the final season Braun worked for a short time for Costanza's father, Frank Costanza, selling computers.

Larry David named the Lloyd Braun character after the real-life Lloyd Braun (media executive), who was David's lawyer and manager.
