Lucia is the chief of the Karaya clan (a section of the Grasslands) during the second Firebringer war. She was born in IS 439 and there is no official listing for her time of death. She was briefly involved in the Dunan Unification war after being recruited by Leon Silverberg. Leon acted upon her hatred of Jowston, caused by the death of her father. Her father, Kainu, was poisoned by Gorudo (King of Matilda) and Alec Wisemail (former Mayor of Greenhill.) After the Dunan Unification, Teresa Wisemail apologized for her father's crime and the dispute ended.

During the Second Firebringer war, Lucia is unable to keep her village from being destroyed and takes refuge in the haven of the Great Hollow. She then leads an attack on the Iksay village. Lucia is wary of joining with Zexen when Harmonia first attacks, but like the rest she is eventually forced into the agreement. Lucia befriends Chris Lightfellow and before the final battle at the ceremonial site, Lucia gives Chris a little womanly advice before she goes to reclaim the true water rune.
