| Mad Maestro is a Japanese rhythm game for the PlayStation 2, developed by Desert Productions and released in the U.S. by Eidos Interactive in 2002 under their "Fresh Games" label. Gameplay involves the player taking control of a conductor, who must use his powers to recruit various performers for a concert to save the town's concert hall, by tapping the controller buttons with varying degrees of strength to mimic the intensity of the conduction: light taps for softer notes, and hard presses to increase the playing power of the orchestra. All of the songs in the game are synthesized versions of well-known classical songs, such as "Swan Lake", "Hungarian Dance No. 5 & 6", and "Night on Bald Mountain". Two sequels exist in Japan, one of which is a Christmas version. [ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for Mad Maestro ] | Searches on eBay |
