Magician's Force was the eighth English booster pack in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It is comprised of the Japanese sets Advent of Union and Champion of Black Magicians. It contains a new set of cards called Union monsters, with the ability to combine and strengthen other monsters, along with plenty of Spellcaster Monsters, and Spellcaster-support cards. Also, it contains a group of cards known as "Amazoness" Monsters. Finally, it introduced the "Spell Counter" mechanic in which certain cards could only be played by removing a number of "spell counters" which are acquired by playing magic cards (This is similar to using mana in Magic: The Gathering). Highly sought after cards include Breaker the Magical Warrior, Tribe Infecting Virus, Magical Scientist and Dark Paladin. It contains 2 secret rares, 10 ultra rares, 10 super rares, 17 rares, and 69 common cards.
