ManagerSim is a massively-multiplayer soccer management game. It was originally named SoccerSim.

Game description

Unlike games like Hattrick and ManagerZone, where teams are created by the players, the teams in ManagerSim reflects real-life teams. ManagerSim consists of a number of gameworlds, each with realistic teams, divisions, cups and tournaments. Names of the actual soccer players are, however, randomly generated.

History

The game was originally developed in 1998 to 2001 by Femte Gear ApS, a danish company owned by Peter Strand and Martin Bresson. It was then purchased by french startup Reality Game. Reality Game went out of business shortly thereafter, and the rights to the game was acquired by the danish company SpriteFish ApS, which is owned by Peter Strand. At this point, the game was renamed to ManagerSim.

The game is presently operated by SpriteFish, and it free to play. New features are still being added, and the game has an active community.
