| Metal Fatigue is a 1999 real-time strategy and mecha computer game developed by Zono, Inc and released by Psygnosis. The game's A.I. designer is Mark Baldwin. The storyline takes place in the 23rd century, and involves the story of three brother's seperation into three different "companies" as they end up waging war on each other. Players have the option to play as either one of the three brothers in the single-player campaign mode, controlling tanks and other various units at ground level, in underground tunnels or up in orbiting asteroids. The main units in Metal Fatigue are the two-story tall Combots, which can be configured and customised part by part. Different torsos, arms and legs that can be created in the player's own factory or even salvaged from a destroyed enemy Combot can either be used as weapons for attacking or as armour for defence purposes.
