| Mimiru is a character in the franchise called .hack. She is a main character in the anime series .hack//SIGN and a minor character in the .hack//Games. Mimiru plays her character as a "tough-it-out-through-anything", devil-may-care fighter who is poor at planning things out and following through on them; however, she is skilled in the art of swordplay. She's the first player to meet Tsukasa, and later tries to form a bond with him in order to protect him from the outside world. Originally she was playing The World as a solo player but decided to team up with Tsukasa in order to help him log out and find the secret behind the Key of the Twilight. As Mimiru, she teamed up with the player Bear, and sometimes the player BT. A TwinBlade named Sora also contacts Mimiru when she has something he needs or vice versa, although Mimiru detests him because of his attitude and the way he plays The World. In the real world she is a tenth grade student at a public school who is involved in volleyball as well as many other spectator sports. Mimiru's real life self is a 15 year old teenage girl, who's an only child and has few friends. Her father works in production at Cenpro, a semiconductor company that etches wafers. In one episode she complains to Bear and Tsukasa that her father embarrassed her at his work, because she thought he said "Who's got the best ecchi", when in fact he was making a statement about the etching process. Near the end of .hack//SIGN, Mimiru tells Silver Knight that she used to work part-time at a video store, where she enjoyed watching movies all the time for free. In The World, her character is a female Heavyblade. In the .hack//SIGN episode .hack//Intermezzo, taking place 2 years before .hack//SIGN, it was revealed that Mimiru had a character before her current one. In the flashbacks of the episode, it shows how she met a LongArm named Mimika, a character controlled by 3 girls, and how Mimika turned her own character into a crystalline statue through an attack removed in later versions of The World. She also makes guest appearances in the .hack//Game series. [ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for Mimiru ] | Searches on eBay |
