Outerlight is a game developer based in Edinburgh, Scotland, founded in 2002. The company is currently working on a number of projects, most of them centered on a FPS perspective.

Outerlight's major project is The Ship, a Multiplayer FPS set aboard a 1920s cruise ship. Players are given a quarry, whom they must hunt down and kill. But beware, someone is also hunting them.

In June 2004 Outerlight released a Half-Life mod which approximates the gameplay of the retail version of The Ship, currently in development. The mod is available for download on The Ship's .
