The PlayStation 9 is a fictious console created for the use of advertising of the PlayStation 2. The commerical described the "beginning" of the Play Station regime in the video game world. This regime began with the Play Station 2. Sony used this advertisement created by Method Reeldb. The visually pleasing Play Station 9 is an orb that is set in a futurisitc society in the year 2078. A consumer who just purchased the PS9 allows the device to enter his eye. The device then connects to their brain through the adrenal gland. The orb then sends images of games and allows the user to believe they are in the game, this is a play on the sophistication of "Virtual Reality".
