Professor Ochanomizu (お茶の水博士 Ochanomizu-hakase), also known as Dr. Packadermus Elefun, Professor Peabody, and Dr. O'Shay, is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Astro Boy
.

Ochanomizu is the head of the Ministry of Science in the Astro Boy series. He is best known for having a cucumber-shaped nose. In fact, in some panels, he has gotten into nose fights, or even had his nose fall off!

After Dr. Tenma disappeared from/burned down the Ministry of Science (it depends of the series), Ochanomizu was put in charge of finishing Astro Boy's development, and he suceeded. He told Astro what his beliefs were. Ochanomizu wants both humans and robots to co-exist in peace. Whenever he sees Astro fighting another robot, he wants to stop it, though he has had lapses.
