Red is a character in the Mega Man X series. History
Red was the 1st Officer and commanded the Red Alert Syndicate troops on military operations to destroy the Mavericks. Eventually, he becomes influenced by Sigma and begins commanding his troops to attack the Maverick Hunters instead. He was almost like a father figure to Axl and when he couldn’t escape from his base before it self-destruct, Axl was overcome with emotion but was forced to say goodbye. Personality
Red comes of as an determined, cocky individual that believes he can get anything he disires. While these are common villian flaws, Red can be considered merely misled, and his actions indicate while he was sharp, he exibited a weakness to being manipulated , which Sigma easily took advantage of.
