Games - Rim Elm

==Backstory== In the Sony Playstation game Legend of Legaia Rim Elm is the starting point of the game. It is also the birthplace to the game's main character, Vahn. Rim Elm is a walled village set on the southernmost peninsula in Drake Kingdom. The wall was built around the village to block the flow of the Mist in the surrounding area from coming into the town. The wall was built of stone or mudbrick. The wall was destroyed early on in the game from the Sim-Seru, Juggernaut, but was no longer needed after the Genesis Tree
was revived and drove away the Mist.

Layout

The enitre village other than the south side, which is opened to the ocean, is surrounded by the wall. The buildings in the town are three small huts, one large two-story house, and a larger double-connected hut. The three huts serve as homes to the martial arts teacher Tetsu, Mei and her family, and Vahn and his family. The two-storied building acts the town shop, selling weapons, armor, and items. The second story serves as living space for the family that owns and runs the shop. The large double-connected hut is Town Elder's residence. In the center of the village there is a dug in hole that houses the Genesis Tree
. To the left of the village is a windmill and a tree which is home to a bee's nest. To the right is a cliff with the elder's hut. Inside the cliff is the memory statue.

Return of Juggernaut

After Vahn
, Noa
and Gala
destroyed the last Mist Generator at Jette's Absolute Fortress
, they travelled to Rim Elm together. They were unaware that they had not seen the last of Cort
. One day, Vahn met up with Gala at the Rim Elm Genesis Tree following a second sparring match with Tetsu. A child came looking for them, and alerted them to Songi's presence just outside. Songi revealed that the Juggernaut was coming, and had merged with Cort. Even as he spoke, the ground shook and the Juggernaut arrived as if on cue. It engulfed the town of Rim Elm, transforming it into a Sim-Seru town similar to Conkram. The heroes were left on the outside with Songi, while everyone else disappeared into the Juggernaut's innards. Songi then revealed that he intended to conquer Seru-Kai, and teleported there. The heroes rushed to Uru Mais to stop him, but is was too late: by the time they caught up to Songi, he had already critically weakened the Great Genesis Tree in Noaru Valley
. Had the Great Genesis Tree died then, Rim Elm would have suffered the same fate as Conkram. But the Ra-Seru heroes gave the tree an extra boost of strength and then returned to Legaia at Mt. Rikuroa
. When they made it back to Rim Elm, they were able to use the power of their Ra-Seru to force the Juggernaut's mouth open, and they descended into the Bio Castle
. At its center, they found Cort, who assumed a monstrous form and attacked the heroes. They defeated him however, thus killing the Juggernaut as well, and just in time, for at that moment the Great Genesis Tree perished. The Ra-Seru used the last of their power to remove the Juggernaut's corpse from Rim Elm, and reincarnate Cort as an infant. Rim Elm was left badly damaged, but the resilient townsfolk began to rebuild.
