Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War is the latest real-time strategy game developed by Rick Goodman and his game studio, Stainless Steel Studios. The game is published by Midway Games and is set to be released in early 2006. The player is brought to the ancient world where four different civilizations battle for dominance: Persia, Greece, Egypt, and Rome. The game offers 80 unique units, developed graphics, and promises problem-free network playing. The game also offers players to command some of the greatest historical figures in the ancient world: Julius Caesar, Germanicus Caesar, Cleopatra, Ramses the Great, Nebuchadnezzar, Sargon, Achilles, and Alexander the Great; each with their own unique abilities and weapons.

The game was almost completed, however, Stainless Steel shut down all operations and abandonded all current projects, including Rise And Fall. But despite this, Midway is determined to continue the game's development and release it in 2006.
