Ronin:Spirit of the Sword is a popular samurai themed, Flash based game made in 2003. The player controls the sword of a ronin (a masterless samurai) and fights enemies like zombies, wolves and ninjas. The game features adult content, which may be disabled.

In adventure mode, the player moves through a mazelike environment filled with enemies, traps like flying shuriken, helpful items like sushi and katana swords. Various partially-clothed young women may also be discovered. Between maze levels the story is carried forward by a manga strip.

Apart from the adventure mode, the game has an arena mode, a tutorial, a gallery mode which displays the young women (once they have been 'unlocked' by finding them in the game.

Combat is conducted with the mouse. There are two offensive moves, (hold mouse button and drag down) and thrust (double click, hold and release), and also a parry option. Attacks use up power, and parrying uses up "chi", so the player must balance attack and defense. Spells are also available.
