Roy "The Boy" Brindley is a professional poker player from Dublin, Ireland.

Roy burst onto the poker scene in 2002, winning 6 tournaments, and finishing second to Kirill Gerasimov in the second World Heads-Up Poker Championship.

In addition to his playing career, he regularly commentates on The Poker Channel alongside Gary "The Choirboy" Jones and Lucy Rokach. He is also a regular columnist for CardPlayer.

Brindley made the Grand Final of the inaugural William Hill Poker Grand Prix, finishing in 3rd place.

In 2005 he appeared on the chat show Heads Up with Richard Herring to discuss his life, career and his love of poker.

Brindley also works as a poker journalist for The Sun newspaper.

As of 2006, his total live tournament winnings exceed $450,000.
