| Scott Miller is a game programmer, producer, and level designer who is probably most famous for founding Apogee Software in 1987 and co-founding Gathering of Developers in 1998. He has also been recognized as a strong proponent of shareware. Miller began writing computer games in 1975 on a Wang 2000 while living in Australia. He wrote several DOS games that circulated widely on BBS file bases:
