In the Pokémon world, the Seafoam Islands are a series of large caverns, located off the coast of Cinnabar Island. They are found in the Kanto region (Pokémon games Red, Blue and Yellow, as well as FireRed and LeafGreen).

Many Water and Ice-type Pokémon are found here, but it is most visited for the legendary bird Articuno, as it is the only place in the game where it appears. In Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, Articuno has moved out and Blaine, Gym Leader of Cinnabar Island, has moved in following the destruction of his old gym. One must journey to the Seafoam Islands to battle him and collect the Volcano Badge.
