Shalks are fictional black beetle-like creatures in the game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. They are aggressive and can be dangerous if underestimated or if the player is at a low level. They sometimes cast fire spells at the player. Their resins can be used for potion making. They are also completley immune to fire, reistance to fire is a common trend on the volcanic island of Morrowind.

They are normally found in the Ashlands, Molag Amur, Grazelands, and Azura's Coast.
