The Sirine is a fictional creature from Dungeons and Dragons that is based on the siren from Greek mythology. The creature appears as an attractive humanoid female, often blue-skinned, who lives in or near bodies of water and sing songs of enchantment. Unlike the siren of myth, sirines are not necessarily malevolent; many of them are of chaotic neutral alignment.
