Some Hearts is the debut album from Carrie Underwood, released on November 15, 2005. It reached Platinum status (RIAA) in December 2005 and Double-Platinum status (RIAA) in early January 2006. It has also received a Gold Certification in Canada (CRIA) for sales of over 50,000 copies sold in January 2006.

The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, just behind Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor, and moved more than 315,000 copies, the second best first-week sales for any American Idol
winner (behind Ruben Studdard's Soulful which sold over 400,000 copies in its first week) and the third best first-week sales for any American Idol
finalist (behind Clay Aiken's Measure of a Man which sold over 600,000 copies in its first week). It was certified platinum four weeks after its release for shipments of over one million copies and double platinum in early January 2006.

The first single off the album is "Inside Your Heaven" which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up single, "Jesus, Take The Wheel", was #1 on the Hot Country Songs Chart for 6 consecutive weeks and #20 on the Hot 100. "Some Hearts" was released to pop and adult contemporary radio and reached #16 on the Adult Contemporary chart. "Don't Forget to Remember Me" has been announced as the next single off the album.
