The Teensies are a race in the world of Rayman, existing of small creatures who's heads are mainly formed by their chin. They exist in many forms and colors, and most of them hold magical power. The Teensies first appear in Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and later return in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. Teensies in Rayman 2
In Rayman 2, the first 3D Rayman game, the Teensies are introduced as a peaceloving race, who do nothing else then fight over who was once their king, since they all seem to have forgotten who it was. It is therefore not exactly sure they ever had a king in the first place. In Rayman 2, most Teensies are captured by the Robo-pirates, and put into cages. By freeing them all, Rayman gets some nice bonuses, due to the magic powers of the Teensies. Despite their silly looks and behaviour, Teensies are really wise and give Rayman advice on his journey. The Teensies return in Rayman 3, once again as main victims, this time under the tiranny of the Hoodlums. In the first scene of the game, you see Hoodlums stealing the wool of some unknown creature. The creature is the property of some Teensies, but the Teensies get caged again. So Rayman sets out on a journey once again to save all Teensies. The Teensies seem to have stopped fighting over the crown, even though it's not clear who's the king now. Probably they gave up the fighting and noticed they didn't need a king. Teensies are still silly-looking in Rayman 3, but appear a little more intelligent and mature. They often advice Rayman on his journey. History of the Teensies
Like most creatures featured in Rayman, there is little known about the history of the Teensies. Nobody can ever tell who was originally the king of the Teensies, and what the Teensies were like in the past in the first place, since even the Teensies themselves don't remember anymore. But who knows, maybe the real history of the Teensies will be revealed in the next game in the Rayman-series.
