Games - The Thinking Machine

The Thinking Machine is an online program designed to play chess. The primary difference between this program and others is that this program shows you its thought process.

Display

The thinking machine shows you its thought process using colered lines, colored orange and green. The brighter the color the better the move would be for white. The computer is always black. Eventually the lines color the whole board. Another way that it shows you its thoughts is through ripples signifying lines of force. The ripples of force represent what squares pieces control. Also, just so you know, the computer makes the same moves. For example if you move the King pawn out it will alway make the same reacting move in every game. But, the move will vary between computers depending how slow or fast the computer is. For example, if you moved the king's pawn out two squares then the computer will make the same moves in every game but on a different computer it will make different moves from the other computer but there will be no variation.

Pieces

The pieces can be hard to recognize to those who do not know what they mean, a list of the pieces and their representor follow.
