Plot

SG-1 returns to a planet called Medrona where they are accused of stealing a device that controls the planet's weather. At the same time, strange weather patterns being appearing around Earth, leading SG-1 to believe that whoever stole the weather device brought it back to Earth. In order to confirm their suspicions, SG-1 inspects the second Stargate being held in Area 51, and discover to their horror that it had been replaced by a fake Stargate. The team eventually tracks down the Stargate at an abandonded hangar and recover both the Stargate and the weather device, but are unable to prevent the thieves from escaping through the Stargate. SG-1 quickly returns the weather device to Medrona, regaining their trust and saving them from the now out of control weather.
