Troy McClain is a businessman from Boise, Idaho who was also a contestant on Donald Trump's The Apprentice. He currently works as a mortgage lender.

Troy McClain quickly became one of the first season's stand-out contestants with his southern charm and his off-beat and sometimes dangerous strategies during the competition. McClain ultimately came in fifth on The Apprentice and was fired by Trump for being "a loose cannon". He and fellow contestant Kwame Jackson became very good friends on the show. On the final task, Jackson chose McClain as one of his employees, but Jackson still lost due another employee he chose, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. Trump would later give Troy the chance of going to College by giving him a scholarship.
