General gameplay

In most tycoon games, the player starts out with a blank piece of property, ready for development. In some cases, like Fast Food Tycoon, it is a building, ready for business. The player must then use an assortment of different tools to create a successful business. He/she must try to make a profit, however, most Tycoon Games have money limitations, allowing only so much to be spent at one time. The key to most of these games is to develop slowly, allowing the income to build up after the player spends money.
